Welcome at European Makers
In November 2001 European Makers Gallery opened its doors in the lower level of an historic building in the Amsterdam 'Spiegelkwartier', close to the Rijks-museum .
We exhibit and sell contemporary applied art. The emphasis lies on wonderful ceramics, glass, textiles and also paintings by established and new and upcoming artists from all over Europe. Our collection is carefully selected and exhibited in a light and serene space, enabling the visitor to fully appreciate and enjoy the works of art in all their beauty.

'I like the duality of coral -(plant/animal) - as much as I like the duality of porcelain clay. The fired clay body is strong but looks delicate and frail. With nature and in particular underwater landscapes as inspiration, I explore form, experimenting with porcelain's possibilities in relation to different firing temperatures. My intention: to create my own landscapes- a garden of paradise'
